Reza Ghannadan, MPT, BSc (Kin), Dip. AMPT, FDN-P
Registered Physiotherapist
Reza has been a Registered Physiotherapist since 2012. He graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2012 with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy after completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University.
He uses a combination of techniques to help his clients in their recovery, including manual therapy, Functional Dry Needling (IMS), education and exercise. He has experience treating individuals from all backgrounds and activity levels including clients with orthopaedic and sports injuries, TMJ (jaw) disorders, ICBC/Worksafe BC injuries and those ranging in age from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Continuing Education is an integral part of Reza’s practice. He has completed his Diploma in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy (Dip. AMPT) and is a Functional Dry Needling (IMS) Practitioner (FDN-P). He has also taken numerous courses in the assessment and management of TMJ (jaw) disorders, and a large part of his caseload consists of clients with jaw disorders. He regularly speaks at Dental study clubs and conferences on how physiotherapy can help patients with TMJ disorders, as well as with medical groups on how physiotherapy can help with managing various injuries.
Being a fan of soccer, Reza has also provided physiotherapy treatment at numerous soccer tournaments over the years, including the Vancouver International Soccer Festival, SummerFest Cup and Friendship Cup. He was previously the team physiotherapist for Shaheen FC, NVFC-U18 and the Chena Swim Club.
In his free time, Reza loves spending time in nature, exploring the mountains and trails, paddle boarding lakes and exploring new outdoor adventures.
